Fremont Solstice Parade

I went to the Fremont Solstice Parade today with my online meetup group (Seattle Travel Nurses and Friends). It's a parade known for it's naked bicyclers and random "floats." The Fremont area is quite open and accepting; a little quirky in an exaggerated way. SoCo and Lamar have nothing on Fremont, let me show ya...

He was just letting it all hang out on the bridge

You can't see, but there are two people painted in camo as in they are shooting a rocket

A float pushed by "prisoners"

An Asian drag queen

Yay for summer

A "Spaghetti Monster"
religious connotation - you can worship even spaghetti

Belly Dancers

Kick Ball
They actually had people in the crowd kicking the ball back and forth

Sandwiches

One-eyed Purple People Eater ??

Love
They went around giving people hugs

A big, giant American Blunt
to support legalization of marijuana

Roller Bladers

Literally "supporting" liberty

Breast Cancer Awareness
This lady sang "Do your boobs hang low"

No More Monkeys Jumping on the bed
There were kids jumping on the bed behind them

?? I have no idea ??

Sorry, not very good quality pics - took them on my phone. If you didn't notice, there were lots of political statements and random silliness....LOL
