Halloween Lexicons (from Daily Candy)

Don't know if you know about Daily Candy, it's a daily email that keeps you in the "know" about events, new products, new restaurants, stores, trends, etc... They have city specific (Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, etc...) as well as everywhere issues. You can score some deals as well. Anyway, They write these things called Lexicons - words that don't exist, but should. Hopefully this isn't copywrited, just thought I'd share the hilariousness...lol.

boo-bies
n. The effect of constantly being startled by the number of revealing costumes surrounding you. (There's so much cleavage in this room, I'm getting the boo-bies.)

candy rapper
n. The smooth-talking little kid who "trades" with all the other kids for the best loot.

costomb
n. The overcoat you inevitably have to wear every year, which totally kills your costume.

monster mesh
n. The effect of too-tight fishnets.

tramplify
v. When you decide to go as yourself, only sluttier.

vampire weekend
n. The massive 48-hour hangover that comes from attending too many Halloween parties.

veepie crawler
n. One of the hundreds of Sarah Palin/Tina Fey costumes you'll spot this year.

wee-atch
n. That ho who copied your witch costume.

wicked witch
n. Just a regular witch. In Boston.

children of the porn
n. The girls who are way too young to be wearing the slutty Halloween costumes.

count mackula
n. The dude who takes advantage of being in costume to hit on anyone and everyone.

costude
n. Air of superiority while wearing a really awesome costume. (Sure, putting rocks in her dress pockets and going as Virginia Woolf was genius, but we could do without the costude.)

flaunted house
n. The house that always goes way overboard with the Halloween lawn decorations.

frankenslime
n. The guy who takes advantage of being in costume to cop a feel. See also count mackula.

freddy cougar
n. The old chick who totally rocks her slutty Halloween costume.

shalloween party
n. Just another lame SoBe hotel party disguised as a Halloween event.

trick-or-traitor
n. The friend who says he’s totally wearing a costume then shows up in a T-shirt with a pumpkin

We like to think we wrote the book on lexicons. Perhaps because we did. For an excerpt from The DailyCandy Lexicon: Words That Don't Exist but Should, go to dailycandy.com/book. Available online at amazon.com.
