The river is about a 5 minute walk from my place. Yesterday, I decided to get a little exercise (especially after buying Monica's Chocolate) and walk to the water. There's a place under the bridge called "Bad Little Falls."
The tides here are the biggest in the world (30 feet). In the morning, there's a little stream surrounded by creek bed. You see guys out there picking clams. By 5:00, the river is raging and full to the brim. These pictures were taken about 5:30.
